MULTICULTURALISM -OPEN SCHOOL AND TEACHING
MULTICULTURALISM - OPEN SCHOOL AND TEACHING
Aimed at:
- 1. Typical and Life-long Education Teachers
- Administrative personnel
Aim:
Managing cultural pluralism in school is closely linked to the commitment of the state to implement an educational policy that will take into account the needs of society, the findings of science and the results of innovative educational activities or pilot programs that have been implemented in the field of teaching students with diverse cultures. The trend of societies towards multiculturalism requires a sense of awareness and alertness on behalf of the educational community so as to adopt new practices in the education of migrant and returning students, beyond simply addressing the language problem.
Objective:
To supply teachers of all levels and members of the wider (special and non) education sector with useful skills, in the sensitive role and context they have undertaken, so as to manage the multicultural reality through effective teaching, all the while using it as a springboard for the social development and progress of all pupils.
